Noel Bajandas comments on his experience with Adam Lambert's AMA performance.

"Working with Adam (Lambert) was an experience like no other. As a human being he is inteligent and cool and as a performer and artist he really pushes you to get out of your box. The AMA performance was a scandal to many but just good old fun for everyone who was onstage performing. Its funny, cuz as an artist, one does what they do out of love and passion and wilthout restrictions, but the minute it hits the mass media, it all of a sudden turns into pleasing everyone else, and not yourself. I guess any publicity is good publicity, but honestly, that just comes to show you that one is not for all, and thats ALL GOOD! Im a performer/artist of all aspects and I will always have the urge and chance to push those boundaries further than the one before.

 PEACE AND LOVE!"

Waacking, an evolution of the dance style "Posing," derives from the 70s disco movement of the underground gay club scene in Los Angeles. The first Waacking crews to emerge from the 70s era were the Outrageous Waack Dancers and Dance Machine. The Waackers, now leading the new school movement, is the first official Waacking crew to emerge out of the Waacking resurgence of 2003-present day.

The Waackers is a group of talented individuals who believe in the positive preservation, promotion and evolution of the Waacking dance culture. Founded in December 2008 by Kumari Suraj (Frankie Douglas), members of the Waackers have dedicated their time and energy to learning the true history, movement foundation, musicality and lifestyle of Waacking.

Kumari cultivated a group of dancers from a wide range of dance backgrounds -- The Waackers includes bboys, poppers, lockers, house, jazz, hip hop, salsa, classical Indian and ballet dancers that have all come together to embrace the art of Waacking. Each member's unique dance background is reflected in their style of Waacking.

While training under Kumari Suraj the crew has also studied under Tyrone Proctor, original Soul Train dancer and Waacking pioneer. The rigorous training they have endured has pushed the crew to evolve from novice trainees to Waacking Sophisticates in a matter of months.

Together the crew has performed with
Carmit Bachar (original Pussycat Doll), ABDC "We are Heroes Bash", the Debbie Reynolds showcase, Carnival Choreographer's Ball and choreography competitions at Boulevard3. On the underground circuit, The Waackers have been seen battling and judging dance events held in Los Angeles, New York City, Europe and Africa.

In April 2010, the ladies of The Waackers will be performing at B.Supreme, an all female celebration of Hip Hop dance, taking place at the Royal Festival Hall in London. www.bsupreme.co.uk

In their hometown of Los Angeles you can catch members performing and getting down at Majestic Funk, a music and dance event hosted by The Waackers in Hollywood. Majestic Funk will be held on the first Friday of every other month.
